Containerised storage

Your goods can be safely stored in our warehouse, in purpose built wooden storage containers. These measure 8’ x 7’ x 5’ which is equivalent to a 250 cubic feet capacity, the standard size within the storage industry.

They can be used from a minimum of two weeks, or for the rest of your life, if you so wish! We can collect and pack the goods into storage for you, or you may deliver the goods directly to our warehouse and pack the containers yourselves.

Standard Storage

Our standard storage service is comprised of a pick up fee, storage rate and delivery fee, all of which are charged per container. We bring the empty container to your property, load the goods, seal the container and bring it back to our warehouse. Storage is charged on a daily basis per container and re-delivery of your goods can be arranged to suit you. Collection and delivery fees are dependant on distance and ease of access.

Self storage

Self storage incurs a nominal handling fee for us to have the empty containers ready and accessible for you in our warehouse. You then move the goods using your own transport and fill the container yourselves. Container rental is a competitively priced and charged on a daily basis. Our warehouse is open for deliveries from 07:30 to 17:00 Mon-Fri and Saturday mornings by appointment. The handling fee applies each time you access your goods.

Archive & document management

Here at George Pickersgill we offer a tailor made “cradle-to-grave” solution for all your official records. We are experts in the storage and management of documents and paperwork. This leaves you with:

Documents are logged onto our in-house documents tracking system then filed in A4 archive boxes, which are housed in our purpose built document storage containers. A central gangway and purpose built floor-to-ceiling shelving allows easy access to all of your archive boxes. Single documents or entire boxes can be located for you by our highly experienced staff and can be speeding their way to your business premises with 30 minutes of your request, or faxed for instantaneous data access.
